Welcome to Washington, DC! As the capital of the free world, it is known as the center of power and prestige. The roots of history run deep and an old fraternal organization know as the Freemasons (who count many Founding Fathers among their alumni) has challenged the Society of Seekers on a hunt to earn the title of Masters of Mystery.
Freemasonry is one of the oldest and most widely-recognized fraternal organizations in the world. They trace their heritage to stonemason organizations from the end of the fourteenth century and even sometimes claim to have origins as far back as antiquity. George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and others from U.S. history were part of this mysterious group. You can see their symbols hidden throughout the city, including the grid system used to map out the main thoroughfares.
As a member of the Society of Seekers, you are representing our team against the DC Grand Lodge of Freemasons. Do you have what it takes to be given the title of Master of Mystery?
